NYS Testing
Bay Ridge Catholic Academy adheres to NYS Next Generation Standards and Diocesan Standards and Testing Regulations. As a requirement to these practices, the following student exams will be administered during the 2023-2024 school year: (Check the school calendar for exact dates)
Grades K-8 i-Ready Diagnostic Exams Sept/Jan/May
Grades 4,6,7 NYS ELA Assessment Exam April
Grades 4,6,7 NYS Mathematics Assessment Exam May
Grades 5 & 8 NYS Science Lab Performance Assessment May
Grades 5 & 8 NYS Science Written Assessment Exam June
Students not meeting the NYS competency level will receive Academic Intervention Services (AIS).
